A-LIST CREW
These
are some of the amazing crew that have expressed their
interest in contributing to the feature, and assisted on
the short film of “Late in the Season” as well.
(At
this time, as we are in development on the feature film,
no official cast offers or attachments have been made.)
James
Chressanthis,
Cinematographer. Mr. Chressanthis is passionate
about this project, and will be contributing his many
years of movie-making experience to the team.
Immediately seizing upon the idea that the feel of the
film has to be “fluid”, to convey the basketball
sequences as well as the character’s arcs, the film is
in sure, steady hands with Jim. He has been the lead
cinematographer for CBS’s Ghost Whisperer from
2005-2007. He has been nominated for an Emmy award for
the mini-series Life with Judy Garland: Me and My
Shadows, and won the Kodak Vision Award in 2001. Jim
contributed the additional photography for Chicago,
as well as The Witches of Eastwick, and is
currently shooting the feature Footloose. His
credits include Brian’s Song, The Reagans,
The Dale Earnhardt Story, as well as The Music
Man. A true artist, Mr.
Chressanthis likens lighting movies as “painting on
canvas”, and is well-respected by his peers. Jim is
excited about the opportunity to assist his fine talents
to Late in the Season.
Todd Busch, Editor.
Todd is a rising star in the editing field, having a
long list of editing jobs to his resume. Some of his
credits include
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, X-Men,
Three Kings, Dancer Texas Pop 81, Armageddon and October
Sky. He is expert in knowing what is needed to be shot before
shooting even starts. Mr. Busch edited the short
version of Late in the Season with Writer/Director Gary
Hershberger, and is already familiar with this heartfelt
story. He is excited to join the team on the feature.
Professional, hard-working, and a joy to work with, Todd
is an invaluable member of the team.
Richard Van Dyke,
Production Sound Mixer. Mr. Van Dyke has been a
professional in this field for many years, and he is
excited about lending his incredible talent to this
film. Some of Richard’s credits include the Academy
Award-winning American Beauty, Ocean’s Twelve,
Along Came Polly, One Hour Photo, Zoolander, Max
Keeble’s Big Move, and is now in post-production on
Sky High. Richard will be invaluable to the
team, bringing his expertise to the rich sound of the
huge Final Four basketball sequences as well as the
subtle, intimate moments of this heartfelt film.
LOCATION SHOTS
Charming Davidson College - a True-life Division I
college that only has 1,700 students, and yet they
compete against basketball powerhouses like North
Carolina, Duke, and UCLA. A beautiful campus, a
charming, old-fashioned town, and a passionate
basketball history. This is where we hope to be shooting
this inspirational story.
